Pt. Harishankar Shukla Smriti Mahavidyalaya is estabilished in August 1995 and run by Pt. Harishankar Shukla Smriti Seva Samity. The Institution is headed by the energetic and strongwilling Principal Dr. Mamta Sharma. Pt. Harishankar Shukla Smriti College is recognised by NCTEC and affiliated to Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University,Raipur.

Pt. Harishankar Shukla Smriti Mahavidyalaya aims to excel high in the noble field of education by providing excellent educational opportunities which are responsive to the needs of the community and help students to meet academic, economic, social, and environmental challenges and to become active participants in shaping the world of the future.

I welcome you all. I wish to say few words about the institution. The motto of our institution is “VIDYA DHANAM SARV DHANAM PRADHANAM”. It means education is the most important asset of human being. If we do not accept it or neglect it then we are going to face many obstacles to progress in life. It may lie that the target which we want to achieve, we will not be able to get that. Therefore, you should remember this motto through out your life.
